Careers at the Stahl-Zentrum

Working at the Stahl-Zentrum means providing services for the companies of the steel industry in Germany. We offer a wide-ranging diversity of areas of activity in research, joint technical and scientific work, representing the steel industry’s economic and political interests, and in the marketing of steel. Improved interaction between schools and business is of central importance for the future of Germany as a steel-producing location. The Steel Industry/School Co-operation Network (Kooperationsnetz Stahlindustrie – Schule) would like to assist schools to change their attitudes fundamentally and permanently. Companies “adopt” a nearby school and assist it in better orienting its syllabus towards business topics and the later career world of the pupils.
