ISER supports the trend for rust-free stainless steel by means of company-neutral and material-related publicity work for its members, who come from the fields of production, the trade, processing, surface coating, and the alloy materials industry. The main areas of activity are the production of publications and delivery documentation covering non-rusting steels, participation in trade fairs, organising specialist and training events, setting up “Stainless Steel Rust-free Processing” centres of competence, and providing practical information on materials. An information service provides information on delivery and application possibilities for the numerous stainless steel types and products.

The Stainless Steel Information Office’s main areas of work are:

• publications and delivery documentation for non-rusting steels,
• trade fair participations,
• organisation of specialist and training events,
• setting up competence centres,
• practical material information.
