Australien: Posco investiert in Erz-Joint-Venture

Posco will für 1,6 Mrd. USD seinen Anteil an dem Erz-Joint-Venture Roy Hill Holdings in der westaustralischen Provinz Pilbara von 3,75 auf 15 % erhöhen. Roy Hill ist ein Joint Venture mit dem australischen Bergbauunternehmen Hancock Prospecting. Posco erwartet ab 2014 eine Erzproduktion der Mine in Höhe von 55 Mio. t pro Jahr.
